What should you say to someone who knows the gospel—but hasn’t received Christ?
Maybe you know people who give mental assent to the gospel but haven’t yet submitted to Jesus as their Lord and Savior. They’re biding their time, day by day, waiting until the moment feels right. Or those who’ve gone a step further and are intellectually convinced about Christ, and think they are saved, but they aren’t.
The truth is that both groups are still without Christ, and will spend eternity in hell. Merely knowing and agreeing with the gospel isn’t enough to get to heaven.
So what should you say to such people? And how can you make sure you’re not one of them? John MacArthur’s study on Hebrews 3–4 tells you. Become effective at reaching those whose relationship with Christ remains superficial, and you’ll discover encouraging truths for yourself as well, about Jesus’s marvelous ministry as our High Priest in heaven.
